These terms, conditions and guarantees apply to any purchase made through the Yuba online store. Please read this page in full before placing your order. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us — we’ll respond as soon as possible.

Payment

A 100% payment is required to initiate any order.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards.
If you choose the Affirm payment option, please note that all sales are final and non-refundable.

Vouchers / Coupons

Discount coupons or vouchers must be applied during checkout or at the cart summary stage. If an order is completed without entering a valid voucher, Yuba Bicycles will not refund the difference or apply the voucher retroactively. We reserve the right to modify expiration dates and conditions of use at any time.

Returns and Cancellations

No return or refund will be accepted without prior written consent from Yuba Bicycles.

Add-On products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to approval. Bicycle returns are generally not accepted. Any purchase made using Affirm is final and non-refundable; no cancellations or returns will be accepted for such orders.

If a complete bike, electric bike or frameset is cancelled after payment and after shipping, it must be returned in new condition and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping fees, along with a 15% processing fee. If cancellation occurs before shipping, a 30% processing fee will apply.

For Add-Ons and parts, cancelled orders and approved returns are subject to a 15% processing fee, and shipping costs must be covered by the customer.

Products purchased through special promotions are not eligible for return or exchange. If an item is returned in new condition but without written approval, a 50% processing fee will apply. Returns of used, installed, or unpackaged products will not be accepted.

Refunds for approved returns are processed within 5 business days of receipt.

Shipping and Handling

Product prices displayed on our site do not include shipping costs, which vary based on delivery distance. All bicycles and accessories are securely packed and shipped via FedEx or UPS Ground.

Customers are required to inspect the contents of their packages upon delivery. Any damage or missing items must be claimed directly with the carrier. Yuba Bicycles is not liable for loss or damage during transit.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the items in your order. When multiple shipping rates apply, only the highest shipping class is charged.

Delivery Times

In-stock Add-Ons generally ship within 3 to 5 business days of your order. Bicycles are shipped within 10 to 15 business days. Transit time typically ranges from 1 to 5 business days from the pickup date.

Bicycles are shipped 85% assembled. Customers must have a basic knowledge of bicycle mechanics, along with appropriate tools, to complete the assembly. Yuba Bicycles cannot be held responsible for incorrect assembly and strongly recommends that all bikes be assembled, adjusted and safety-checked by a professional bicycle mechanic.

Warranty

Yuba offers a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects for all Yuba-manufactured products, valid for the original owner only. This warranty does not cover parts not made by Yuba and is non-transferable.

If you encounter an issue with your bike or accessory, please contact us immediately. Warranty claims can be submitted via our online Warranty Claim Form.

Repairs or modifications made without prior written authorization will void the warranty, even if deemed necessary by a customer or dealer. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Yuba may choose to repair or replace the item. The original owner is responsible for labor and shipping costs associated with repairs or replacements.

By purchasing a bicycle from Yubabikes.com, you agree to take full responsibility for your safety and the safety of others using the bike. This includes ensuring your bike is properly tuned and all components — including frame, tires and seat — are inspected before each ride.

It is your responsibility to understand and respect the limits of your bicycle, especially when carrying cargo.

Yubabikes.com and Hawley, LLC are not liable for any accidents or injuries, including those related to design or mechanical failure. Do not make a purchase from us unless you accept full responsibility for the use of your bicycle.
