How do I keep my Yuba products waterproof/water repellent if they start leaking?
There are two ways you can help keep your Yuba products waterproof/water repellent:
- Regular use of DWR (Durable Water Repellent)
- Using Seam Sealer to prevent leaks
Applying DWR
This will help the product shed water and keep the inside dry. We recommend NIKWAX DWR spray. (Link: NIKWAX TX.DIRECT SPRAY-ON)

Seam Sealer
A common problem with aging products is leaking through the seams. To help your product stay watertight you can use Seam Sealer to stop/prevent leaks. Seam Sealer is applied to the inside of your bag or product and acts as a barrier to incoming moisture. We recommend the GEAR AID seam sealer. (Link: GEAR AID Seam Grip Seam Sealer)
