The Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser Revolutionizes Urban Cycling

On June 27, Yuba Bicycles will launch the newest addition to its line of utility bicycles, the Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser. Designed with the needs of urban cyclists in mind, the bike fills a unique niche lacking in the cycling market.
Similar to the well-known Yuba Mundo, the Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser features an integrated back rack welded to the frame, with a capacity of 220 pounds of cargo. Its stable handling and eight-speed SRAM X-3 drivetrain makes it easy to transport passengers and cargo. Unlike the Mundo, the Boda Boda is fabricated out of aluminum, and weighs a mere 35 pounds. The new Baguette panniers have a capacity of a bit more than a bag of groceries each; they attach cleanly to all of the Yuba bicycles. In addition to these new accessories, the Boda Boda is compatible with most of Yuba’s accessories, from the Peanut Shell child seat, to the adult passenger accessories, meaning that this bike is as customizable as the Mundo. With green features, such as cork grips, bamboo back decks and running boards, this bike will stand out at the bike rack.
The Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser has an MSRP of $999, and will be available to consumers in July. An electric version will be available in the fall and retail for $2,697 MSRP.
