Mundos Green-up “Outside Lands Art and Music Festival”

Utility, Mobility, Community … Rock Out!

This year, Yuba Bicycles is a sponsor of the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival taking place on August 14 and 15.  Music lovers from all over will flock to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco to hear music from over a dozen bands on multiple stages.

Yuba Bicycles will enable Outside Lands to extend their sustainability mission and environmental commitment by proving Mundos for the Festival to use hauling things around, shuttling performers and their gear and moving garbage and recyclables instead of using trucks or golf carts.

Mike’s Bikes will also be demonstrating Yuba products at Eco Lands, an area within the Festival.  Eco Lands will be located at Speedway Meadow where just last weekend the Bicycle Music Festival used its Pedal-Powered Stage to rock the crowd.  Eco Lands’ will have a a music stage powered entirely by solar energy.

Eco Lands‘ vision is that every single person attending Outside Lands will participate in decreasing the carbon footprint of the festival by checking out the hottest live acts featured on the solar-powered Panhandle Stage, choosing refillable water bottles over plastic ones, recycling and composting their waste, biking to the festival or picking up local food from our farmers’ market and restaurants.
