Love my new bike! I have the baby seat and a handle bar ring and ride with my 1 and 4 year old for fun and for some errands. Occasionally, my 6 year old rides too but usually he wants to ride his own bike. The bike is easier to manage and pedal than I thought it would be. I did also upgrade the kickstand because getting everyone loaded and unloaded was a bit tricky using the one that came with it.

My husband and I bought two electric Boda Boda a month ago. We have two sons ( 6 and 8 years old ) and we love these bikes! The monkeybars are really safety for my sons. We enjoy this summer visiting incredible places and we are happily riding together. And now it is easier to load our groceries. We would recommend this bike for family and everyone.

I knew I was going to love this bike, but I didn’t quite know how much I was going to love it. My 4 year old can barely stay off of it. We have the Monkey Bars and he stays firmly put; he even snoozed a bit on a trail ride and was perfectly secure. I use it almost exclusively for work and it’s been great- carries my work bag and I can even secure boxes when I need to. The motor/battery charge lasts so long and I have no complaints about its capabilities. I live in WV, so there’s not a ride that doesn’t have a hill and the boost it gives makes hills I never thought I could ride up a breeze.

I’ve had the El Boda Boda for several weeks and have been commuting to work daily (12 miles roundtrip) up big hills in Salt Lake City. I love it! Riding to work is now an experience and not just a commute. At first I was winded and sweaty when I’d arrive, but now I feel great and hardly break a sweat. My husband has even started riding his bike up to my work to “pick me up” and we take the long scenic way home just for fun! Since getting this bike, we have hardly used the car. We load up a burley trailer on my bike and take the dog on walks (she’s 70 lbs), hit up the grocery store and ride downtown for dinner dates. The size of the bike is perfect for me (5’5″ and my husband can ride it too 6’3″). The assist feels very smooth and the disc brakes stop you on a dime. We just wish we had gotten this bike sooner. It’s been a real game changer!

I purchased my Yuba Boda Boda a month ago and I have not driven my car since. My 7 year old son climbs on the back of my bike and we ride to the forest or the beach or into town. I strap his skateboard on the back and we travel to the best skating spots. He yells out, “Boda Boda, We go places!” and we are off to an adventure. I put our lunches in the saddle bag or a basket ball so we can be ready for shooting hoops or whatever the day brings us.
I ride to visit my sister or a friend a few miles away. I plan on riding it 16 miles to work once a week with all my needed gear in the side bag. I ride up hills and zoom down slopes with ease. This bike is so fun and has been the best purchase. I ride it daily and charge it up when I need to. I love the size of it too because I can turn easily and for an electric bike, it is lightweight.
This bike has changed my like because it makes my car unnecessary and it brings me joy whenever I get onto it. People compliment me on the bike every day and it makes getting around a delight!

Definitely enjoying it so far! My Boda Boda is replacing a ~10 mile commute each way with some severe hills each way. The breadbasket holds my bag, and I can take the elevation without becoming a sweaty mess for the work day. I replaced the stock bell with one that fit on the left hand without blocking any of the shifting or computer controls, and I’m looking forward to putting some straight riser bars on it to be able to stand a bit faster over some of my city’s lousy road, but getting out of the car each day both ways is exactly what I wanted! Also excited to get the child’s seat for the back so I can take my kiddo all over the place!

Loving my e-Boda Boda so far! I have it equipped with Monkey Bars (highly recommend) and use it to carry my 40-lb five-year-old and 20-lb toddler (in a Yepp seat), plus cargo in the Bread Basket. Even with the extra weight, it handles hills better than any acoustic bike, and in the city it usually gets us where we need to be quicker than a car would. Great battery life, although the lights drain it faster. My one complaint is that it’s possible to get your foot stuck in the kickstand while parking it, and if you lose your balance the bike can fall on you (no one got hurt, just embarrassed!). Still, once you get the hang of it, it’s not tricky to avoid. And this bike just looks super-cool. All the kids at school are impressed by our sleek turquoise ride!

Comfortable, not as heavy as I thought it was going to be, strong and beautiful! I couldn’t be happier with my Boda Boda. The pedelec makes even the really steep hills super easy (and crazy fun), and the disc brakes keep me safe when I need to come back down. The battery charges pretty fast, too, though I have yet to drain it as most of my trips are only a few miles at best. I can now grab my groceries without having to get into a car, and that makes my Boda Boda worth every penny!

Use the bike for daily commute as well as taking my kids to different parks around where I live. The bike is amazing and more than I could have hoped for. Thanks Yuba!

I love my Boda Boda. It’s a total game changer. I can zip around with my kiddo in tow, grab groceries, and I don’t mind taking the long way home with the e-assist it’s so easy. Not sure who loves it more, me or the kiddo. I love hopping on it and it’s small enough for me to put on the car hitch rack. Perfect size for my first cargo bike.

I love my Yuba! I got this bike to safely transport my toddler, and it feels so safe and sturdy. I now find that the city feels so much more open to me, knowing I can get where I need to go with the e-assist so I don’t arrive tired, and with the ability to haul whatever I need.

I needed a bike upgrade for commuting and wanted an electric assist bike that could carry more gear, but did not want a large cargo bike. The electric Boda Boda is pretty perfect for me – it’s easy to maneuver and has made my commute much better and less sweaty. I can use as much or as little assist as I need and hills are more manageable. The larger tires feel very stable and the geometry of the bike is comfortable and easily adjustable. I really like having integrated front and rear lights. Only con is that I wish the rear rack bars were not as thick so that standard panniers could be carried since there are not many bag options for this bike. Overall this bike combines the stability of a mountain bike, efficiency of a road bike, comfort of a commuter bike, and the ability to carry gear and kids all in one!

My wife and I wanted an electric cargo bike that would make it easy to ride up hills with our one-year-old son in the back. The El Boda Boda had an excellent price point, and the Shimano motor performed just as capably as the more expensive Bosch. After adjusting the handlebars, both my wife and I are comfortable riding the bike. Our son loves it, too! Our car is collecting dust while we do most of our errands by bike, and we have great weekend rides together. Since the electric bike can go fast, it’s easy to ride at the same pace as the person who isn’t carrying a child on their bike. I’d recommend this bike to everyone.
