We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Lake Forest, CA team!

Position Description: Yuba Bicycles is seeking a highly motivated and creative thinker with strong content creation, digital marketing and writing skills. This person is responsible for evaluating, creating and implementing marketing plans in conjunction with the executive team, as well as content creation, social media management, email campaign creation and implementation, moderating virtual customer engagement and assisting with USA product launches.

 

Responsibilities:

Website:

Site management including text and image updates

Blog management

Digital marketing:

Content creation – ability to proactively storytell through video, photo, blog, newsletters, etc.

List building and management

Create and manage Active Campaign, auto responders

Create and maintain social media marketing plan and editorial calendar for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest

Moderate and engage with user-generated content, messages and comments w/ fans and customers and respond to queries

Report on reviews and feedback from customers and fans

Report weekly insights across all platforms to track effectiveness

Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and contests

Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products

Brand management

Assist with product launches USA

Events

Assist with event planning, marketing and follow-up 

Attend consumer and or B2B events and represent the company 

Influencers

Handle day-to-day execution and management of Influencer programs, Expert & Aficionado program

Partnerships

In coordination with Sales & Marketing Director, manage and establish partnerships

Sales and marketing promotions

Assist the Sales & Marketing Director in coordinating sales promotions

Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers including contests and promotions

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
  • Content Creator with the ability to edit and post on an ongoing basis
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • Team player – organized, driven and self-motivated individual 
  • Sublime writing skills; Collaborate with partners and departments to create, write and develop engaging text, image, and video content
  • Ability to think outside of the box and is resourceful
  • EXCELLENT working knowledge of Facebook, IG and other social media platforms
  • Proficient in WordPress, Google Workspace
  • Experience with MailChimp, Illustrator and/or Photoshop required
  • Experience with Asana (preferred)
  • Passion for bicycles, bikes for transportation and sustainable mobility required
  • Previous experience working in marketing in the Outdoor industry (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, New Media or relevant field (preferred)
  • Avid cyclist, bike commuter, weekend warrior required; passionate about environmental issues
