Assembly & Delivery Options

We want you to have a great experience with your Yuba: from the moment you place your order, to your first ride – and beyond. We offer several options for you to order your Yuba cargo bike and Add-ons.

Option 1: Order Through Your Local Authorized Yuba Dealer 

We are proud to partner with some of the best bike shops in the country who stock our bikes making them available for you to see, touch and test ride in your local community. These shops have professional service technicians that are experienced with assembling and maintaining all Yuba cargo bikes. Their sales staff is also able to listen to your questions and help match you to the right Yuba for your specific needs.

Just let us know in the notes of your order that you would like to opt into this option, and we will find the closest retailer to you. It may be possible, however, that there isn’t one within a reasonable distance or that the shop does not have the capacity to assemble your bike in a timely manor. In this case, we will let you know, and the bike will be shipped to you.

Option 2: Order Through the Website – Build Your Bike at Home

We pre-build your bike ahead of time, professionally inspecting, tuning and testing each bike individually in our facilities in Lake Forest, California. Our bikes will arrive 85% assembled when shipped directly to your door.

*Please be aware that assembling an electric (or non-electric) cargo bike is not recommended if you have no prior experience in bike maintenance. A working knowledge of bicycle mechanics and safety and an adequate set of tools and supplies are required to proceed. Yuba Bicycles cannot accept responsibility for improper assembly of our bicycles or accessories.

Order Processing & Delivery Times

The worldwide global supply chain challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have affected our industry, alongside many others. In-Stock Item Orders

In-stock items will typically be processed and shipped out within 10-15 business days of order submission. Normal transit time for shipments to destinations in the lower-48 United States is from 2-12 business days after the items are picked up from our warehouse by FedEx. Canada: transit time from the US to Canada may be increased by 3-5 business days.

All Add-On orders placed before 2pm PST will be processed and shipped same day.


If you order a product that is marked “available on backorder”, or “expected on” a given date, there will be a date noted on each product’s webpage when we expect that item to be available for processing again.


Yuba extends a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects to the original owner of any Yuba-branded product. This warranty does not extend to any component or part that is not directly manufactured by Yuba Bicycles, LLC and is non-transferable. 

Non-Yuba-branded components, including non-Yuba-branded forks, brake rotors, electronic systems, and other components, are covered by the stated warranty, if any, of their manufacturer, and are not covered under this limited warranty. 

Please contact us immediately regarding any problems with your bicycle or accessories. We will make every effort to resolve the issue quickly and to the benefit of all parties.

Returns and Cancellations

Except for specific warranty issues, no returns or refunds are possible. All online sales are final. All bicycle sales that are shipped to a local dealer for assembly are final once removed from the store. Returns will not be accepted. See more details in our Terms & Conditions.
