Terms & Conditions : Yuba Bicycles LLC - JAN 2014

Our terms conditions and guarantees are spelled out on this page.
By ordering from us you agree to these terms.
Read this entire page before ordering.
Please do not hesitate to phone or email us with any questions.

PAYMENT: A 100% payment is required to initiate an order.

CANCELLED ORDERS: An order for a complete bike which is cancelled after initial payment and before shipping is subject to a 10% processing charge. Bikes and frame sets cannot be returned or exchanged or refunded once shipped (this is due to very high cost of shipping of the bikes).

No returns or refund without prior consent from Yuba Bicycles. Returns will be charge a 10% restocking fee on Add-Ons and Parts and 20% on bikes. Shipping charges are at the customer charge. No returns or exchange on items on "sale".

CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED: Visa, MasterCard.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Bicycles can be picked up at the shop or can be shipped to you.
Prices do not include freight. Freight charges vary by distance to be shipped.
* Bikes are shipped in cardboard boxes via FED-EX, UPS or truck freight.
* If a bicycle is picked up at the shop, it can be fully ready-to-ride with all options installed, tuned and tested.
* Customer is responsible for checking the content of the shipped goods upon reception. The buyer is responsible for filling shipping claims with carrier. Yuba Bicycles CANNOT accept responsibility for damage during shipping.

BACK-ORDERS: If the bikes or accessories are not in stock at the time of the order, the entire balance will be charged and the items will ship once back in stock. There's a 10% non-refundable charge on any canceled orders.

DELIVERY TIME: Order processing time takes between 2-5 days, sometimes up to a week for bikes requiring customization. Products can be out-of-stock for up to 10/12 weeks.

SIZE: Make sure you order the appropriate bike for your size.

ASSEMBLY: A basic knowledge of bicycle mechanics and a good bicycle mechanic's toolkit are needed to assemble a bike. Yuba Bikes ship 85% assembled. In any case Yuba Bicycles declines any responsibility for improper assembly of the Yuba Bicycles. We strongly recommend to have your Yuba Bicycles assembled by a professional bicycle dealer/ mechanic.

VOUCHERS/COUPONS: Discount coupons and vouchers have to be entered at checkout or when the cart summary is displayed. If an order is placed and the voucher is not entered, Yuba Bicycles will not reimburse the difference, nor credit the voucher afterwards.

TO CANADA: Shipment can be shipped to Canada using FED-EX or UPS, this is convenient, but it adds $25 – $60 Canadian to the shipping charge. The bicycle should go right through customs; the carrier will call you to make sure you want them to process the shipment through customs, pay the taxes/duties, and attach a brokerage COD tag to your shipment that you will have to pay on delivery. Alternatively, you can designate your own broker; this may cause some delay.

WARRANTY: Yuba Bikes products, bicycles and Add-Ons have a lifetime warranty.
-This warranty does not cover damage due to wear and tear, overloading, misuse, abuse, or anything else beyond Yuba’s direct control.
-A partial list of preventable damage not covered by this warranty: rusting of the Mundo frame;
bending of the Mundo's stays by overloading behind the dropouts; failure of the Mundo's rear wheel; bending of the carrier or the loading platforms. Yuba will be the sole arbiter of whether or not damage is due to defects in materials and workmanship.
